Well I am doing well! Surgery went fine, I recovered...pushed it a little too much but then caught up on my rest later on. So, now we're just waiting....back at square 1 with IVF....I guess not completely square 1....that happened a while ago, but square 1 for the treatments. Which is fine, since we're still on track to do it! For that, I am thankful.

Other than that, we had a full week. I had classes, work, meetings, and fun times with family and friends. Last night we celebrated Independence High School's homecoming, and Meagan Fernandez who was part of the Homecoming Court. Jeannie Wherley and a couple of the U-turn girls made shirts, and they were nice enough to make me one! How fun is that?!?

How fun is that? Independence won, 31-28 and it was a good game. Afterwards, Jordan and I came home and watched "While You were Sleeping." That really is an incredible movie! Great morals, great story, funny and so sweet. It's a few years old, but totally worth it!

Today we enjoyed celebrating with our friends Paul and Alison Hillenbrand at their baby shower. They are expecting their first, a little boy in December and we are all SO excited! Next week they're moving into a brand new house in Spring Hill, just right down the road from us! We had a great time, and I wish I had taken pictures, but I was busy taking them with Rachel's camera, so I didn't get any. Oh well!

Well, I must be gone...LOTS of homework to do, and this day, as relaxing and great as it has been, has FLOWN by!!! Must be working!

Week (or2) in Review

So, I've been meaning to post on all sorts of things...but haven't found the time. And I've felt totally "out of it" for the last week and half, b/c I haven't really had a cell phone. You see, we are switching over to AT&T, and as a result, I put my old phone for sale on Craigslist, and when I had a lady last Friday who wanted to buy it, I didn't want to pass up the opportunity even though I hadn't ordered my new phone yet- so I sold it. So for the past week I've been using my old dinky phone that has about 5 minutes of talk time before the battery drains and drops every other call. So in essence, I haven't had a phone, but I digress....(and the new one is coming today- yay!)

So last weekend was great! We went to the Lakehouse with a group of our closest friends- so fun!! Jordan, Janelle & I drove out there Friday afternoon after work, oh and baby Ethan of course, too. (Kyle was coming after Frontline) We arrived within 30 minutes of Ferris & Robby and JT & Christy Hughes. We had SO much fun over the weekend, talking, eating, laughing, holding babies (Ethan & Rinah) TUBING, being out on the water- etc!! And although tubing was so much fun (Ernie couldn't knock me off!-ha) I don't know if it was worth the INTENSE soreness I experienced this entire week!! CRAZINESS!! We had a great rest of the weekend with CityPrayz, Uturn "Mexico Team" night, and a fun meal after church on Sunday with the congregation.

THEN- Jordan & I took off for Evansville! Whew! We stayed Sunday and Monday night with Adam & Sarah Hubert (Sarah, btw, will you email me those pics of Graham that you took?) and had SO much fun!!! We had dinner with Zach & joy as well both nights- 1st at Hacienda and then 2nd night I cooked at the Huberts for everyone. LOVED their house...it's gorgeous and the neighborhood is amazing!! We got back home Tuesday morning and proceeded with our week: working, resting, planning, etc.

So to end this post, (I think I did a good job of quickly recapping several days) enjoy a few pics of Baby Ethan, Baby Graham and our neighbor's daughter, Sadie, who I watched for just a little while Wed. afternoon.

Things have been great around the Roe home- we had a great weekend, the Colt's won (YAY!) but Jordan and I both lost our fantasy matchups (boo!) I'm hanging on by a thread to make the playoffs this year....

Monday we got to have dinner at Mom & Dad's house, which was great! Tuesday I made pork roast and homemade mac & cheese at home and we watch the election, which was as quick as I've seen in the last 8 yrs (since I've been voting) Last night we had a long meeting here at the house, and tonight we get to be home again- I'm thinking about making pizza with homemade crust...mmmm,mmmm!

I am SUPER pumped about my road trip to Lee University this weekend to see Dylan, AND Ferris is actually coming with me too! HOW AMAZING! This will be the longest stretch of time I've gotten to spend with my sis and bro in a while and I am super excited about it. I'm also looking forward to the drive there- the colors in TN are just GORGEOUS right now and the whole drive will be bursting in color- BEAUTIFUL!

I was happy about my great deal on razors I got at CVS this week. They had a buy one, get one 50% off sale, and I had $2 off on each pack as well as a $4 off my CVS purchase, so I saved like $30 and got 12 razors (9 for Jordan and 3 for me) for $13, when it typically would have been $34. My only problem with this stuff is learning when to NOT buy a great deal. Right now, Jordan has enough razors and shaving cream to last him through next spring (okay, maybe a little exageration) but still- you get my point. It's so hard to pass up a good deal. But, I MUST do it!

Well have a great Thursday- I am ready to work and get some good stuff done!

Tuesday, July 08, 2008

Great start to the week. Yesterday was a full but wonderful day of work- got a lot accomplished and worked through! We had some friends over for dinner last night. I made a few different pizzas: my standard barbeque chicken pizza, and then a ham & pineapple and a new one- buffalo chicken. MMM,mmm, it was good! I made little Hannah her own personal cheese pizza and we had a wonderful time talking and hanging with them until 11:00 o'clock! Totally could have gone longer, but we all knew it was bed time!

Not too much going on this week. One of my friends is RIGHT on the verge of labor...so we're anxiously awaiting that! She's due in about a week but TOTALLY ready to pop, so we're praying little Noah hurries himself on up. She's certainly ready.

I have a dress fitting after work for my bridesmaid's dress for Reese's wedding. Let's hope it fits! I love the dresses- they are so pretty! And we may have another family over tonight, but other than that, it's a pretty easy breezy day.

Have an awesome Tuesday! Be blessed!

So here's a rundown of the last few days. It'll probably be long, so click on my music tab to the right and get a little music while you read!

Saturday:
-hooked up with Steven & John Herrenbruck for breakfast on Saturday in Newburgh. We had a great time with them before hitting the road to get back to Nashville. As soon as we arrive, I took off with Ferris and Mom to Ferris's shower, which was wonderful, and Jordan took off to play some Ultimate Frisbee with my brother and some friends. (More from the shower later) As soon as that was done, we met up with all the youth and parents at Pinkerton Park for a family picnic/game night. We grilled hot dogs, played water balloon toss (Jordan and I came in 3rd out of about 60 groups!) hung out, talked, played frisbee, angle ball, etc. It was beautiful weather and it was so fun to have everyone out there together. We crashed that night, and I think both slept hard!

Sunday:
-I woke up early to get ready- had to get to the church by 7:30 because I was leading worship. Went through rehearsal and had a great service. We are consistently at about 215 people these days, which is so exciting! Pastor Andrew Lamb from Woodbine was speaking, and we had a great time of ministry at the end. There is a lot to process still from the service, but God is doing some pretty amazing stuff. Afterwards, we hurried home, I made grilled chicken salads, we stuffed them in, and ran off to Ultimate Frisbee, which is an outreach we do every other Sunday for the youth group. We had a lot of fun playing frisbee for a couple of hours. We both got home around 4:45 from that, and got to rest for about an hour before I made dinner and we took off to go bowling for a friend's birthday. We had a great time bowling with friends that night- I actually broke 100, can't remember the last time I did that.

Monday:
-slept in until about 7, and then got up to read and get to work....had a lot to do! The day flew by working and catching up on things, and as soon as it was over, I prepared my grocery list and took off for some errands. Picked up our dry cleaning which I had dropped off like 4 weeks ago- OOPS! In the midst of grocery shopping we decided to go up to Mom & Dad's for the evening, so I made it home, whipped up some spinach artichoke dip, packed up the steaks I was marinating and we took off. We had a great evening, got to see Reese and Chris and got some good talks in with Mom & Dad. We left (too late) but oh well! It was worth it.

Today:
-work up early, and stepped outside to weed my front bed. we HAVE GOT to get some mulch down there...these stupid weeds are growing way TOO fast, so I took care of that, and got some great reading in before starting work. Finishing up the work day now, which again has flown by. We have our Spring Hill youth leadership team (about 9 total) coming over for dinner tonight, and I still need to clean the house. So, in the next 2 hours I will attempt to dust/vaccuum/clean the kitchen and cook chicken marsala/pasta/green beans for 9 people. I'll letcha know how it all turns out!

We are currently in Evansville, Indiana. Jordan planned this trip some time ago to do some fund raising for some of the new things he is stepping into, (Click HERE for more info) and he really wanted me to come with him since he'd be there an entire week. When we realized that I can work from pretty much anywhere with a strong internet connection- we decided that I would come with him. So, I'm currently working from Jerry & Cindy Lamar's this week. It's going well so far- please pray for us as we continue stepping out in faith to raise the support we need for Jordan to be in full-time ministry.

Ever since my last post about camp, it has been my life :0) We've been cutting twine, material, painting, pasting, coming up with games/riddles, making emblems, blindfolds, wood burning team staffs, planning, praying, practicing, etc. I've been purchasing everything from posterboard and muslin fabric to flagging tape and burlap bags.

We've also had some really late nights this week. Tuesday night we had the team over working on all this stuff, and despite us starting at 5:30, we were still going strong with lots to do at 11:30. TOO late for my taste. Last night, I got home from camp worship rehearsal about 9:30 and saw Ian & Jordan all the way down at the end of our street with twine stretch down the length of it. We found out we are oh, about 4,000 feet short what we needed. (How was I supposed to know that 2-ply 8,500 feet meant it was only 4,250 of usable twine) So, instead of the 17,000 feet we thought we were getting, it ended up being 8,500. And now I need 4,000 more - so, trying to find that. Stayed up WAY to late this morning, and then J & Ian woke up at 6:00am to finish wrapping said twine....all that to say, I am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow. We certainly need it to get rested up befor Sunday!

This is an amazing time, though and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I am so excited this year- not about games and activities, although I know those will be awesome, but about the breakthrough that will happen in these students lives. I am more sure of it and passionate about it than I've ever been.

Please be praying for us next week. I would LOVE to have an amazing blanket of prayer over us, which I know we will!

It's been a good week, but quick! As I previously posted, Jordan and I were away at a Lakehouse off Centerhill Lake for a little anniversary getaway for a few days. We had an excellent time...only got in the lake a tiny bit on Tuesday- took the inner tubes out. It doesn't come close to jet skiing, but oh well- it's what we had!

These past couple of days have been full but great! We had our first Life Group with our new multiplied group on Wednesday evening, and it was awesome. Jordan and I are the youngest couple in the group, and the only ones without kids...we are not leading this group, just a part of it. It's the first time we haven't been leading a group we've been in, and we had an amazing time on Wed. They ended the group with everyone laying hands on and praying for Jordan and me...for this new season with Jordan's vocation, and for the issues I've had conceiving. It's been a year now, and Jordan and I are trying to really hear the Lord on the direction He wants us to go with it. It was a wonderfully, encouraging night!

Yesterday we worked and had several things going on that evening. I met with a decorator and my sister to discuss some wedding details, and then had a leadership meeting and Camp worship rehearsal. We are going to be working on the Ultimate Frisbee Tournament tonight, which is tomorrow, so there's a lot to do with that. More updates to come...

Things comin up...

Wow- sorry it's been so long. I have definitely been a delinquint blogger, but anyway....here I am- back in action!

I have not been sick these past two weeks- I got hit pretty hard a couple of days and then spent a few days resting and recuperating and I was back into it! After we were over that hump- I went into 'Alabaster Heart' (New Song's live recording) mode- had nightly rehearsals and then the performances last weekend. It was an amazing experience to be a part of...I'll certainly post some songs when it's released, but it might be a little while...you know how that goes.

Jordan and I have been having a great time...spending time with friends & family, working hard, doing lots with our church and ministry and generally living life to the fullest!

We spent the day yesterday with Robby & Ferris- went down to Centennial Park in downtown Nashville to play some frisbee golf- lot's of fun :-) and played Settler's last night at Mom & Dad's.

Some upcoming things in March that I am looking forward to:

*Time with Friends-growing in relationship
*Michael Buble' Concert
*U-turn intown retreat
*Dylan coming home for Easter
*Church Easter Egg Hunt and Game day
*Easter Sunday!
*Arizona Trip w/our "florida" family :-)
*Ferris's Birthday

...and plenty of other things which I'm sure will come along!

We are here in wonderful Florida (it's so hot!) working this week. We worked a full day yesterday and then got sushi with the family beforing watching "The Biggest Loser" and hittin' the sack. We watched that show once when we were here last month...we only catch it when we're in Florida. I was SO annoyed watching it last night (If you watch it, you know why) This guy pulled the worst thing ever and got one of the other guys voted off. It was dirty and mean! Not fun. Other than the meanie Neil- I really enjoy that show.

Can't believe the wildfires in CA. It's crazy, but I heard a little of the news this morning and it sounds like they're starting to get contained. It's so interesting how almost every area has their worry of natural disasters. Here in Florida it's the hurricanes, in Oklahoma it's the tornados and our west it's the fires. I guess Tennessee's pretty safe other than the occasional tornado.

Well be blessed today! I hear back home we've been getting lots of rain- GO grass! (We reseeded our lawn a couple of weekends ago so I'm all for the rain)

Have a great day!

Tuesday, October 16, 2007

I worked out this morning....woohoo! This seriously has been such a challenge for me to get in the swing of things the past year and get myself in the habit of working out. I always feel so good when I do, but my biggest thing has been my loss of motivation over the past year. It's been hard to muster up the energy to "get going" especially in the morning. But this morning I did it and of course it was so worth it!

We're continuing to water our grass, although it is apparently "supposed" to rain according to weather.com. It had better! I want that rain whenever we can get it!

We had a great night last night...got to have the Borst girls over for dinner and to watch a movie. I made some chicken enchiladas and mexican rice and then some "Jordan-friendly" (no yeast, no refined sugar, and whole wheat flour) cookies that got inhaled-seriously! We watched the newest "Pink Panther" movie which is SO funny. It was a lot of fun.

Oh, and I did move up to 2nd place in our Fantasy Football league. Patsy is number one-which I love- the two ladies are leading it! Alright!

Tuesday, September 25, 2007

I keep meaning to post...sorry for the forgetfulness! We've had a good couple of weeks, been to Florida and back, all sorts of fun stuff!

We were in Naples working last week! It was a fun week, got to see Erin & Dan, everyone in the office, Grandpa Chalker and of course Hope & Steve. The week flew by and now we find ourselves back in Tennessee.

I can hardly believe it's almost October! Where did September go??? My goodness...I am really looking forward to October though. I'm believin' for wonderful fall weather! I know it can get there. We're actually going to get to go to Fall Festival in Evansville this year. We're heading up there on Sunday for one or two nights- we're pretty excited about it. We'll also be heading to the Lakehouse in a few weeks and then back to Florida the last week of October. Traveling definitely keeps us on our toes...having to stay up to speed on different things which takes a little more work, but it's totally worth it.

Got to see Merari & Ian a little bit last night which was wonderful. I was at a few meetings at the Buchanan's and needed a ride home b/c Jordan had dropped me off, so Merari was kind enough to bring me home. Ian was here with Jordan, so the 4 of us chatted a while, made some cookies, and watched a little of the game before they left and we went to bed too late- oh well.

I actually woke up very refreshed this morning despite having less sleep than normal, so I got my shoes on and went for a morning run. So glad I did- it was beautiful and well worth it!

Alright- gotta go- have a great Tuesday!

Fantasy Football rank: 3 of 10 (lost by 1 stinkin' point this week)

Saturday, August 25, 2007

It really was a great week! It was full, but not too busy. I'm trying to remember some of the details of the week, but they're escaping my memory. I know Tuesday we thought we had a meeting but it ended up being cancelled, which gave us a free evening we weren't expecting. Wednesday we had Life Group, which was really, really good! I made hamburgers and made the patties way too small- they were midget burgers, but oh well- they tasted good and there was plenty to go around. Don Ramsey brought some amazing desserts from Panera- SO good!! Thursday I got to hang out with Trish which was SO great. I hadn't gotten to spend time with her in WAY too long, so it was much overdo. We had a great time just talking and laughing and catching up. And I got to see the house she is building which is SOOOOOO amazing! I'm so excited for her.

Last night we ventured out for the first game of the High School football season to see the Independence Eagles play the Brentwood Academy Eagles. IHS wasn't doing the best when about 10 minutes before half time the lightening started striking pretty regularly and they ended up calling the game a few minutes into half time. It was a good thing too, because by the time we got to our car and started to pull out, a full out HUGE storm was upon us. I seriously haven't seen lightening that bad and consistent in a while! It was crazy. After dropping Brad Oliver off at home and getting through all the weather- we crashed when we made got back.

Today is my mom's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! I LOVE YOU! I am going to get to spend some time with her this afternoon before U-turn tonight, which I am looking forward to. So on that note, I am going to leave you to go read and do a few things before heading up "north." Have a blessed weekend! I'm sure I'll have much to report after this weekend: tomorrow is our Fantaasy Football draft!!! Woohoo!

Thursday, July 26, 2007

You can tell this is a little busier of a week with my not-as-frequent blogging. It's been a great week though. Monday evening was our night to be at home, and I was able to plant some flowers/bushes I had gotten, some from Mom which I am so enjoying! Jordan and I spent the evening reading, worshipping, and having an all-around wonderful time. Tuesday was full of worship arts things..I had a director's meeting at 4:30 and then we had a network worship leader's meeting following that. It was SO good to hear Jeff speak about things on his heart and what the Lord has been showing Him. We will be having a network-wide WA community gathering in August so he'll be able to download to the whole group, which will be great! Last night was Life Group, and it was so good! I've missed our Life Group, because the last time it was a LG week, we had the Kid's VBS and were helping out with that. It was great having everyone in our home again and getting to connect. Tonight is our Leadership Team meeting, which will be packed I'm sure, with details about the "move" on Saturday to the new facility.

YEAH!

That's all I have for now! I've run out of time...

Wednesday, July 18, 2007

Last night was fun....Jordan met up with Janelle at 4:30 to discuss some youth stuff and then I met them at Saxby's at 5:30 and finished up. Then Janelle and I took off and spent the evening with her just hanging out and talking at her new house- it looks so great! We picked up some salads and chips and salsa (with ranch of course) from Chilis. Jordan spend the evening with our "new son" Jphen and grilled some chicken for them for dinner. It was a nice relaxing night and I was able to get in bed at a good time. I love getting a good night's sleep! Today we're just working away and getting stuff done here- not too much going on. Ferris and I are throwing a bridal shower on Saturday here at the house, so we have a little bit to do to get ready for that.

Just a little mid-week update for ya! Have a great day!

currently drinking: water (seems to be the drink of choice)

Update on week in Florida

Well, I returned Saturday at 3ish, minus one husband from Florida. No, no, nothing bad happened :-) We just determined that it would be best for Jordan to stay one more week to do some more insurance training and be in the office with his dad. So, we got some things covered for the weekend, made some switches, changed his flight from Saturday to this Friday, and I came home by myself.

The trip was great, but mostly consisted of a lot of work. We found ourselves in the office late pretty much each night, but were still able to squeeze in some family time, some Jack Bauer time and some American idol time. I am SO wanting Melinda to win. She has the most incredible voice I think I've ever heard as well as being a person who truly loves Jesus, and it shows all over her. And I think that's amazing. Lots of people claim to be "Christians" but there are few in the entertainment biz on whom it really shows. I'm totally behind her!

Of course I had to go to Teavana, even though we have our own in Nashville now, it's very out of my way and very difficult for me to find time to get to Green Hills. I guess it's a good thing I no longer work in Maryland Farms, because I would be finding a way to get down there several times a week. I bought a couple new teas: Apple Lemon Pomegranate and Vermont Maple and they are both SO SO SO good. And I restocked my Rooibos Chai & Rooibois Sweet Amore.

It was a great trip- very productive, and now I am back gome and thick in the swing of things, preparing for camp and travel, etc.

Only a week and a few days until our big Lake Tahoe trip! Woohoo- can't wait!

Thursday, March 01, 2007

My blogging skills are getting really bad! So sorry, I can't even begin to describe how busy I've been, mainly with work lately. But, I love it so it's all good.

Jordan and I had a WONDERFUL time in Florida last week. The weather was beautiful and we loved getting to spend some time with our family. Erin & Dan's new house looks absolutely amazing- I wish I had some pictures to show you!

Before that- we went on a Winter Retreat with the whole youth group, which was great! Again, I apologize for my lack of pictures. It snowed almost 4 inches, which was so great since we rarely get to see that kind of snow. We spent one night- Friday night- which was very cold. I slept with no joke, about 8 layers and did not get too hot either. That's the scary part. It was an amazing time of God really building relationships and I was so thankful we did it this year.

Do I even need to begin to talk about all the wonderful tea I got while in Florida at Teavana? I was looking back at the posts the other day and realized how many were about tea. Maybe there is an obsession after all, as Jordan says :0) Well, to save you all, I won't tell you about the yummy things I found! You'll have to see for yourself sometime.

Blessings to everyone. I'll try to get some pictures up here soon! I need to post an update on my dear mother too. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow and get an update pic too. She looks so cute right now! I love her!

Have a great Thursday and if you're in Tennessee- enjoy these crazy storms!

Wednesday, February 07, 2007

It's been a good week so far. Very busy- for Jordan really, just one of those weeks where there's a lot going on. He has a Youth pastors' luncheon today as well as several meetings, so his day I'm sure will fly by.

I have been working like crazy. Last week, Florida Legislature issued an emergency law stating that no Insurer could non-renew a client for any reason but non payment of premium, effective immediately. In a nutshell- this means a lot for our industry. We've been fielding tons of client calls and trying to figure out what's going on. So, that's been a bit crazy, but things are getting back to normal.

I got to talk to Jessica last night! She & Jesse have recently moved to Hawaii and I have really been missing her. She's going to call again this evening- her lunchtime so we can talk a bit more. It's so neat to hear about everything over there- where they're living, what it's like, the people they're meeting- all sorts of things. God has really been providing for them, and it's amazing to see.

Well just wanted to shoot a quick update- let you know we're here and alive and kickin! It's actually been a great week so far. Nothing eventful in a monumental sense, but God certainly is doing things in our lives- always doing something, so I can't say it's been a bit boring.

Blessings to you!

Middle of the week...not too much to say

It's been a great week so far! Jordan is slowly but surely getting better, and (he says) coughing a little less each night. I still think that any coughing is too much, just because I hate to see him dealing with it, but, I am glad for the medicine!

We have our final Life Group tonight with Andy & Tracy Cole. We are multiplying our life group into two- one of which Andy & Tracy will be leading, and Jordan & myself leading the other. It's always bittersweet because it's been an incredible group, but it has definitely gotten a bit large for the ideal small group! So tonight we will pray for each other and enjoy this evening together. I am looking forward to it very much!

That's about it for the rest of the day. Jordan and I are both working hard- trying to get as much done as we can! I think we have a fairly mellow weekend coming up, which I am all about. It will be weird though- a Sunday with now football. I know we have one more- the Superbowl, but I always get really sad at the thought of the season being over...it's a bit depressing!

Oh well- have a Wonderful Wednesday- blessings to ya!

Dinners, Life Group, Chemo & Parties

What a weekend, really, what a week since it's been a week since my last "update." Let's see how fast she can go, folks!

Monday night last week, Jordan and I went to help Mom with her "Bunco" Christmas Party for the neighborhood ladies. I helped her set up and then Jordan played Christmas piano music as they entered. Needless to say, the ladies LOVED it and he was quite the hit. He sang "All is Well," which was incredible and I'm sure my mom will ask him to sing it time and time again from now on ;-) I won't complain!

Tuesday some friends, Ben & Michele Christy, came over for dinner and we had a fabulous time! They are just so fun to be around....do you have friends like that? That you just enjoy talking to and laughing with- that's the Christy's for ya!

Wednesday we had Life Group at the Cole's which was really really good! We are getting ready to multiply our group in January, so we talked about that a bit. God has really blessed us with a close-knit, incredible group and it will be bittersweet to multiply, but I am so excited about what God is doing!

Thursday, Dylan, Ferris & myself spent the day at St. Thomas Hospital with Mom for her 8th and FINAL Chemo treatment! YAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!! Mom did so well- actually slept part of the time, and the four of us enjoyed spending time together and marking the end of this season. Mom had me stop at Puffy Muffin for some yummy muffins and cookies to pass out to the other chemo patients, and they definitely got snatched up quickly. We had a great, but very lengthy, Launch Team meeting that night, I think Jordan and I got home about 12:30! That's not typical anymore, but there was a lot going on, and therefore a lot to cover.

Friday we had a Partnership Appreciation Dinner for those at NS Spring Hill who have served so faithfully over this past year and really helping to pioneer this congregation. I was in charge of it, so I had to oversee the location, menu, flow, etc. The night was wonderful, the food excellent and everyone had a great time!

Saturday we had a run through for NS Family Christmas in the morning, helped the Pearson's move in the afternoon (from our old apartment complex to the neighborhood across the street from us in Spring Hill- pretty cool, huh?) made icing for the U-turn party that night, and then ran over to the church to meet the youth to carpool up to Cool Springs for the Christmas Party in the newly renovated and re-done "u-turn" room at NS cool Springs. The night was so much fun and I think the kids really really enjoyed it as well.

Sunday's service was amazing! I had been stressed out in worship practice (I was leading worship) trying to get through the songs and then get the 5 "acts" of New Song family Christmas for sound check/staging. God's grace was SO there, though and worship was unbelievable and the Family Christmas AMAZING!! It felt so like home and so much like family. I am so thankful to the Lord- He is good. Robby, Dylan, Reese, Jordan, Josh & I all went back to our house for some lunch and then about 2:30 everyone parted ways. I headed up to Nashville for a "cookie" party at my friend Kelly's house, and enjoyed seeing some people I hadn't seen in a while! (Bethany Hawkins, Bayley, Jenn, etc.) It was so fun! I made a cute gingerbread house that collapsed as soon as I got in the car- oh well. We capped off the day and the week with our Launch Team Christmas Party at the Gee's home in Mt. Pleasant! It was SO much fun with authentic Mexican food (tamales, enchiladas, sangria) and a fun game of "Sneaky Santa" as Brian likes to call it.

This week is FUN, FULL & FURIOUS. We leave for Florida early Thursday morning, and I am SO excited about Christmas down there and then a 2nd amazing Christmas back up in Tennessee.

Blessings on your week!
